| This is the expanded image for the first Maple bowl. | |

This bowl was turned from a maple log section that had lay partially submerged in a roadside drainage ditch in Virginia for several years. It measures 5" high by 12" in diameter. It was finished by dry-sanding to 400 grit, polished and waxed. It was rough-turned in December 2003, finished in February 2004, and given to the fellow who brought me the stump.
