I bought my first lathe after I retired in 1997 because I needed to make a three-foot high finial for a gazebo project.   The gazebo never got built, largely because I became captivated by the magic of turning a tree section into a small bowl, and generating a lot of mulch and kitty litter in the process.   In the links that follow, I show some of my lathe-related interests and accomplishments, and hope that you will take the time to review and comment on them.
